During a shutter-opening, eye-widening week of shooting, we travelled 2,152km across New Brunswick. Each town, every lighthouse, trawler, and seaside, added to our visual story. We knocked on welcoming doors, savoured the relaxed passage of time, and shared unforgettable moments with fiddlers, farmers, and fisherfolk.

 

In one week, our admiration, pride, and awareness of a part of Canada we thought we knew, grew along with our hearts. New Brunswick, once labelled as 'the drive through province' became our 'drive to' province.

 

Our hope is that our chair's perspective on the human narrative that inextricably links the people of New Brunswick to the stories, landscapes, and buildings that have shaped them, will captivate you as much as they have inspired us. Their maritime warmth, their openness, and their enthusiastic desire to help, gave us a set of images that rival our very best. We found ourselves wishing the journey would continue.
